Arthur Howe
20 years of location managing, decorating and propping feature films, television movies, commercials, & music videos in the Carolinas and Georgia has gained Arthur invaluable knowledge and expertise locating the key resources needed by production. With this knowledge, he soon began production managing and coordinating catalogs, commercials, and music videos, like an Edwin McCain music video, Hanes One Fashion Place, Storehouse Furniture, and other catalogs as well as commercials for Rustoleum and South Carolina Parks , Recreation, and Tourism.Arthur began his film career in 1973 shooting 16mm television commercials with his trusty Arriflex and bolex cameras at Charleston, South Carolina affiliate WCIV television. He later completed his undergraduate degree in Media Arts at the University of South Carolina in 1976. In 1979 he worked to recruit movies with the fledging South Carolina Film Office, a successful relationship he has continued to this day. Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides, North and South, Swamp Thing, Rich in Love, The Lords of Discipline and Queen are among the projects he has had a hand in recruiting and in some cases, location managing.
Oliver Mayfield
Oliver Mayfield started the first Production Vans company in South Carolina in 1992 and has provided custom motor homes for fashion catalogs, commercials, movies and music videos from Ralph Lauren to Cadillac and Mariah Carey to Gullah Gullah Island. In only a few years, Charleston Production Vans has grown from a small company with a single motorhome to a full service transportation and communications company capable of simultaneously providing multiple shoots in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida with transportation, radios, cell phones, and mobile production offices. Mayfield's ability to grow and maintain excellent service to his clients should not surprise anyone who knows Oliver, who once managed and operated Mayfield's - A large chain of hair salons in Columbia, S.C. Oliver Mayfield has spent a lifetime in the service business and understands it from top to bottom.
