15 miles from any Charleston Hotel are - coastal deltas, rivers, plantations, dune-lined sandy beaches, & cypress swamps. Charleston’s intermediate and outer reaches (25 to 50 minutes from hotels) include vast rural and agricultural lands, lakes, scenic old towns, 19th century villages, & wildlife filled national forests.

We have access to isolated private beaches, including a 3 mile long white sea shell lined beach on an Edisto Island property where many sequences of The Patriot, Cold Mountain, and Ace Ventura When Nature Calls (African village and jungle sequences) were filmed.
